New Delhi: The 13th edition of biennial Aero India Show will be held at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru from February 3-7 next year.
The five-day show is considered as the largest aerospace exhibition in Asia.
“13th edition of Aero India from February 3-7 at Air Force Station, Yelahanka in Bengaluru,” as per the Aero India and the Department of Defence Production website.

In February this year, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yedyurappa had met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and handed over a letter for his consent to hold the biennial Aero India in Bengaluru.
Amid speculation that the BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh government is again pitching to host the air show at Lucknow, Mr Yediyurappa not only urged the minister to approve his request but also finalize the dates for the mega event.
“Bengaluru has become synonymous with Asia''s premier air show Aero India, as the biennial air-cum-defence expo attracts giants of the industry from the world and thousands of people from across the country and overseas,” the chief minister had asserted in the letter.

The event displays the Indian Air Force’s technical prowess in handling the latest jets and fighter planes.
Further, it is also a chance for those in the international aviation industry to display their innovations and models to the Indian government.
