New Delhi: Indian Air Force’s fighter aircraft Rafale and Sukhoi-30MKI and UK’s Royal Air Force’s Eurofighter Typhoon conducted a joint exercise recently in India.
Royal Air Force has released a number of pictures of its fighter participating in the exercise with Indian aircraft after conclusion of Pitch Black 2022 exercise in Australia.
Royal Air Force had participated for the first time in 17-nation wargames that had been conducted by Royal Australian Air Force which was commenced on August 17 and concluded in September first week.
“Recently, 6 Squadron @RAFLossiemouth visited India, where pilots had the opportunity to fly joint sorties with Indian Su-30MKI Flanker and Rafale EH fighter aircraft. This interoperability training with @IAF_MCC followed the conclusion of Exercise #PitchBlack22 in Australia,” the RAF said in a tweet.
“#RAF contingent of #Eurofighter Typhoon with #IAF #Su30MKI and #Rafale fighter jets in a joint exercise This will improve the military interoperability between Airforces of #India and #UnitedKingdom,” RAF Lossiemouth said.

In the Pitch Black 2022 exercise, around 100 aircraft and 2,500 personnel from 17 countries had participated in the Royal Australian Air Force’s (RAAF) exercise.
