Gandhinagar: The 76th Independence Day was celebrated at HQ South Western Air Command (SWAC) on Monday.
Air Marshal Vikram Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command hoisted the National Flag at the Helipad ground, in presence of other senior officers, personnel and their families.
The celebration culminated with a brief address by AOC-in-C where he congratulated the gathering and re-emphasized the need of each individual’s contribution towards the development and prosperity of the nation.
A celebratory Barakhana was organised at Airmen Mess of HQ SWAC on the occasion. The AOC-in-C was the Chief Guest.
He interacted with the air warriors and enquired about their well-being.
