Under-production Sukhoi crashes in Nashik, pilots safe

A Sukhoi jet crashed on Wednesday in Nashik of Maharashtra during trial routine sortie. Both pilots in the aircraft ejected safely before the plane crashed. The Sukhoi Su-30MKI which is a twin-jet multi-role air superiority fighter crashed at Wavi-Tushi village in Nashik, sources said. The jet was an under-production aircraft manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Nashik.
