Guwahati: The Indian Army has announced the commencement of Phase II of Agniveer recruitment process which has already begun from June in various parts of India.
“This phase marks a significant milestone in the Indian Army’s effort to transform its recruitment procedure and ensure a seam less and efficient selection process for aspiring candidates,” Guwahati-based defence PRO Lt Col Mahendra Rawat said.
As part of the new recruitment system, the first phase involved a nationwide online common entrance exam that was conducted in April 2023.
The results of the short listed candidates have been uploaded on the official website of the Indian Army, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Admit cards for physical rally have already been issued to these candidates for the upcoming rallies.
The upcoming rally for Southern Assam will be held at Masimpur Military station in Silchar. Shortlisted Candidates from Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong, Hojai, Karimganj, Dima Hsao, Hailakandi and Cachar districts will be screened from July 6-8.

With the successful completion of phase I and the beginning of phase II, the Indian Army aims to select the finest individuals who will contribute to the defence and security of the nation.
