New Delhi: Amid coronavirus pandemic across the country, Indian Army has provided goods, medical support and essential information about the pandemic to the locals in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“We have ensured awareness about novel coronavirus among locals of Kishtwar district by providing essential information about the outbreak and precautions that must be taken by people,” an official said on Saturday.
Audio clips were played over PA system educating the locals and the various guidelines given by Central and State Government.
Numerous posters were also displayed creating awareness in regard to social distancing and restricted movement in public places, he added.
Essential household goods and medical support was also given to the locals during this crisis.
