General Naravane visits Bhuj military station in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane on Monday visited Bhuj Military Station including Rann and Creek areas in Gujarat, bordering with Pakistan.

Southern Army Commander Lieutenant General C P Mohanty received the Army Chief and briefed him about the operational readiness and military preparedness of the formations and units in location and the employment of various new generation equipment being used by the security forces in the Rann of Kutch, Gandhinagar-based Defence PRO Wing Commander Puneet Chadha said.

Lt Gen Naravane also reviewed the administrative wellbeing of all military personnel and interacted with personnel of BSF and Indian Coast Guard also.

Gen Naravane, while interacting with troops of Army and Border Security Forces deployed in the forward areas complimented them for their selfless dedication to duty while safeguarding the National Borders braving various vagaries of weather and terrain in the remote and arduous Rann and creek regions.
