Indian Army, HDFC Bank undertake plantation drive at Jodhpur Military Station in Rajasthan

Jodhpur: In a continual effort and dedicated attempt towards environment protection, Indian Army’s Konark Corps and leading private sector lender HDFC Bank on Tuesday came together to undertake a plantation drive at Jodhpur Military Station in Rajasthan.

As part of Corporate Social Responsibilty, the bank made a contribution of over 1,000 plants saplings of numerous varieties like Gulmohar, Lemon, Jamun among others for Plantation at Jodhpur Military Station.

The plantation drive was organised today in which Lt Gen Anil Puri, Konark Corps Commander and Amit Agrawal, City Head HDFC Bank Ltd Jodhpur alongwith other bank officials and all ranks and families of station came together for the plantation of these saplings in Jodhpur Military Station, Rajasthan-based Defence PRO Col Sombit Ghosh said.

The well timed plantation drive will go a long way in ensuring a cleaner and greener Jodhpur Military Station, he added.
