Lt Gen PS Thimayya will head the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) at Shimla. The incumbent Lt Gen MM Naravane has been appointed the Eastern Army Commander at Kolkata.
Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen Abhay Krishna will be the new Central Army commander.
