Jaipur: Sapta Shakti Army Commander Lt Gen Alok Kler has visited Sudarshan Chakra Division to review the operational preparedness of the Division.
He was on a 2-day visit to the Division, wherein he was briefed the measures instituted to ensure 'Force Protection' and 'Force Preservation' under the overarching framework of 'Operation Namaste’.
The army officer complimented the Formation for their excellent training standards and measures undertaken to enhance quality of life of the troops, Rajasthan-based Defence PRO Col Sombit Ghosh said.

While lauding the formation for its sustained hard work and efforts, the General Officer exhorted all ranks of the formation to maintain the highest level of operational readiness to deal with any contingency.
The Army Commander also visited 'FIREBIRDS'- the Attack Helicopter Squadron at Air Force Station Suratgarh and undertook an operational sortie.
He lauded all ranks of the Squadron for their professionalism, stead fastness and high morale.
