Jodhpur: Southern Army Comamnder Lt Gen CP Mohanty has visited Jodhpur-headquartered Konark Corps and reviewed the operational readiness and preparedness.
He complimented all ranks for their dedicated efforts and high standards of training to thwart any security challenges and maintaining the sovereignty of the Nation.
The commander exhorted all ranks to focus on operational preparedness for future wars and achieve high level of professionalism, Rajasthan-based Defence PRO Col Sombit Ghosh said.
During the visit, the General Officer was also briefed on the role of the Konark Corps in discharging duties as part of aid to civil authorities especially during Covid-19 pandemic.
He complimented all for the excellent rapport between the military and civil authorities and their good liaison to tackle Covid-19 or any emergent situation arising out of a natural calamity.
