Jaipur: Southern Army Commander Lt Gen CP Mohanty on Thursday visited Itarana Military Station in Alwar of Rajasthan and reviewed the operational readiness of formation.
The General Officer was briefed on the operational preparedness and training, Rajasthan-based Defence PRO Col Sombit Ghosh said in a statement.
The Army Commander complimented all ranks for their professionalism.
Later in the day, he also visited Niwaru Military Station in Jaipur where he was briefed and reviewed operational aspects of the formation.
The formation highlighted various measures instituted to counter the COVID -19 pandemic.
The Army Commander exhorted all ranks to maintain focus on operational preparedness and be prepared to counter all challenges.
