BSF DG Pankaj K Singh visits Gujarat frontier to review operational readiness

Ahmedabad: Border Security Force Director General Pankaj Kumar Singh visited Gujarat for the first time after assuming charge of the border guarding force.

BSF Gujarat Frontier IG GS Malik received him at Ahmedabad airport.

On reaching at Frontier HQ BSF Gandhinagar, Gujarat, he was briefed on Operational and Administrative matters of the Frontier.

Later DG BSF took round of the campus and also inaugurated the “Buddha Herbal Garden” in presence of ADG BSF (Western Command), IG BSF (Gujarat Frontier) and other senior officers.

Singh also had a detailed discussion with ADG BSF (Western Command), IG BSF Gujarat Frontier and senior officers on various strategic issues, Border management and security scenario of Gujarat Frontier.

He expressed satisfaction on high standards of training and operational preparedness of the Frontier.

Director General, Border Security Force will also attend National Unity Day Parade on October 31 at Statue of Unity, Kevadia.
