New Delhi: The Coast Guards of India and Indonesia on Monday signed a pact in an effort to enhance collaborative and cooperative ties to rein transnational maritime crimes, facilitate Search and Rescue among others.
The MoU was signed by Indian Coast Guard DG K Natarajan and Head of Indonesian Coast Guard VAdm Aan Kurnia through video conferencing.

“MoU will enhance Collaborative & Cooperative engagements between two maritime agencies to combat transnational Maritime Crimes, facilitate SAR, Capacity & Capability building activities and Maritime Cooperation to ensure safe, secure and clean seas in the region,” it added in another tweet.
