Sriganganagar: Border Security Force’s soldiers on Friday have a befitting reply to Pakistani Ranger unprovoked firing on international border in an area of Anupgarh under Sringanganagar sector in Rajasthan.
A BSF official said that on Friday at about 1400 hours, Pak Rangers fired 6-7 rounds on BSF troops who were present ahead of BS Fence as Kissan guard alongwith 05 local farmers.
In retaliation, the BSF Kisaan guard party fired approx 18 rounds on Pak Rangers.
He also said that no injury or casualty to the BSF soldiers or farmers have been reported.
Indian side had lodged protist and called a flag meeting.
About three months back, the Pakistan Rangers had broke the ceasefire and indulged in firing at a BSF patrol in the Arnia sector of Jammu.
