Bengaluru: State-owned plane maker Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) handed over the first Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) to Indian Army on Thursday, in efforts to add more teeth to its bite.
The first of five LCH was received by director general Army Aviation Corps Lt Gen AK Suri in Bengaluru.
“Indeginiously designed & developed Light Combat Helicopter #LCH has been inducted into #IndianArmy. The first #LCH was formally handed over by #HAL to Director General, #ArmyAviationCorps.
