Shillong: A 2-day conference of all National Cadet Corps (NCC) groups of North Eastern region was held on February 27-28 at NER Dte Shillong in Meghalaya, where future blueprint of forthcoming year was formulated regards to training & growth of cadets.
The Group Commanders of all eight groups namely Shillong, Guwahati, Tezpur, Imphal, Silchar, Dibrugarh, Kohima and Jorhat attended the conference, Shillong-based Defence PRO Wing Commander Ratnakar Singh said.
The conference was chaired by ADG NER Dte Major Genral Bipin Bakshi.
He congratulated all Gp Cdrs for excellent performance of NCC Cadets of NER Contingent at RDC2020, which swept away the Republic day competitions from January 01-28, 2020 held at New Delhi .
“The future blueprint of forthcoming year was formulated regards to training & growth of NCC cadets in NE Region and extending reach of NCC in far flung areas of this Region,” he added.
