DefExpo 2022 to be held in Gandhinagar
Gandhinagar: The 12th edition of DefExpo will be held at Gandhinagar in Gujarat from October 18-22.
Know about the DefExpo-2022 which is anticipated to be the largest ever.
- It will be the first-ever edition exclusively for Indian companies and will showcase India’s Defence manufacturing capabilities to the world.
- Drone show at Gandhinagar on October 19, 21 and 22 will be a major highlight during the event.
- This edition of the DefExpo has been planned in a four venue format.
- Exhibition will be conducted at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, inaugural, official functions and seminars at Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre (MMCEC), live demonstrations showcasing the equipment and skill set of the armed forces, DPSUs and industry on all five days at the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad and ships visit of Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard at Porbandar.
Defence Production Additional Secretary Sanjay Jaju reviewed the ongoing preparations of the event and also chaired the “Security and Disaster Management Committee” meeting.
Sanjay Jaju advised the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) to increase the participation of the Gujarat industries at DefExpo 2022.
