South African President Cyril Ramaphosa welcomes Narendra Modi in Johannesburg.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Johannesburg on Wednesday to attend the three-day crucial BRICS summit, being hosted by South Africa.

Modi will have several bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the Summit. According to Chinese government officials, a bilateral meeting between Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping is also on cards on the sidelines of the Summit. During his ongoing Africa tour, the prime minister has already visited Rwanda and Uganda and is now in South Africa for the last leg of his tour.
