New Delhi: 1986-batch Indian Foreign Service officer Gaitri I Kumar was appointed as next High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom.
Currently, she is the Ambassador of India to Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the European Union.
She is expected to take up the assignment shortly, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.
