New Delhi: India has conveyed its serious concern to Saudi Arabia over incorrect depiction of the country's external territorial boundaries in a bank note issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority.

External Affairs Ministry's official spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said while replying to a query during the weekly virtual briefing here on Thursday.
The spokesperson said that India has conveyed its serious concern to Saudi Arabia, both through their Ambassador here as well as in Riyadh, for this gross misrepresentation of India's external territorial boundaries on an official and legal banknote of Saudi Arabia.
He said that the Saudi side has been asked for taking urgent corrective steps in this regard.
“I would like to further reiterate that entire Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India,” he added.
