New Delhi: Foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Wednesday discussed the upcoming non-permanent membership of both countries in the United Nations Security Council 2021-22 with Mexican deputy foreign minister Ambassador Julian Ventura Valero.
They had telephonic conversation and their talks covered a wide range of issues including Covid-19 pandemic and its economic impact, bilateral relations.
They also exchanged views on various regional and international issues of mutual interest, the ministry of external affairs said in a statement here on Wednesday.
The two sides agreed to maintain regular contacts on both bilateral and multilateral issues.
