New Delhi: The government on Monday announced that it has appointed senior diplomats Hemant Harishchandra Kotalwar and Vidhu P Nair as next ambassador to Czech Republic and Turkmenistan, respectively.
1996-batch Indian Foreign Service Officer, Mr Kotalwar is currently serving as the joint secretary on deputation to National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), an official statement said on Monday here.
Mr Nair, a 2002-batch IFS officer is presently posted as the director in the external affairs ministry.
Both of them are expected to take up the assignment shortly.
