New Delhi: In a significant milestone for the Indian Navy and DRDO, an indigenously developed heavyweight torpedo has successfully engaged a underwater target.
A naval spokesman said this exhibits the Navy's and the DRDO’s quest for accurate delivery of ordnance on target in the underwater domain.
“This showcases our commitment to future-proof combat readiness through atmanirbharta (self-reliance),” Navy PRO Commander Vivek Madhwal said.
