New Delhi: Indian Navy’s in-house designed and manufactured ‘Portable Mutlifeed Oxygen Manifold’ by Visakhapatnam-based Naval Dockyard was handed over to local administration.
Naval Dockyard Admiral Superintendent Rear Sreekumar Nair handed over the system to Visakhapatnam Collector V Vinay Chand in presence of Eastern Naval Command Medical Officer Rear Admiral CS Naidu and Andhra Medical College Principal PV Sudhakar on April 9.

The entire set up uses an industrial 6-way radial header to enable one jumbo size Oxygen Bottle to supply Oxygen to six patients concurrently.
While five sets were handed over to the Collector, balance 20 sets are planned to be progressively supplied over within the next two weeks.
