PC: flickr.comNew Delhi: Amid the complete lockdown across the country in the wake of spurt in coronavirus cases, the government on Thursday extend the banning of international flights till April 14.
Earlier, the flights ban was imposed till March 31.
“…It has been decided that scheduled international commercial passenger services shall remain closed till 18:30 hrs (GMT) of April 14, 2020. This will not apply to approved international all-cargo operations and flights,” Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said in a statement.

However, the ban will not apply to cargo flights or those specially permitted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Domestic flights have been banned till March 31.
Trains, metros, inter-state buses and all public transport have also been banned till April 14 to contain the spread of the pandemic, which has infected over 600 and killed over 13 in India.
