Ranchi Military Hospital sets up 50-bed covid facility for civilians

Ranchi: In response to the requisition for medical assistance sought by State Govt of Jharkhand, the Military Hospital, Namkum in Ranchi has opened a 50 bed COVID care facility on 27 April 2021 for civilian patients.

The modalities of establishment of this facility were discussed earlier over two coordination meetings chaired by Hemant Soren, Chief Minister of Jharkhand with team of Army Officers led by General Officer Commanding Cockerel Division.

The Chief Minister expressed deep appreciation towards the Indian Army for the medical assistance during this critical period when most civil hospitals are filled upto full capacity.
