MoD places Rs 1,094 crore indent for combat vehicles on ordnance factory
In a major boost to ‘Make in India’ initiative, the Ministry of Defence’s (MoD) Acquisition Wing on Tuesday placed an Indent for supply of 156 BMP 2/2k Infantry Combat Vehicles (ICV) on Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) with upgraded features for use of the Mechanised Forces of the Indian Army, at an approximate cost of Rs 1,094 crore.
