The Bhumi puja for a new project of construction of perimeter road, apron and a double storey building was formally conducted in Tajikistan.
The Border Road Organization (BRO) has been entrusted with a new project after a successful completion of construction of compound wall and widening of road in the country in 2017, an Indian Army official said.
Indian Ambassador to Tajikistan Somnath Ghosh alongwith Defence Attaché in the country performed the puja.
The construction work will be completed by October 2019.
BRO has displayed exceptional quality in earlier foreign projects and will ensure highest quality standards in this project and other projects which have been undertaken by the organization in foreign countries, the official added.
